EDUCATION GROUP

The Education group is one of the working parties set up by the LGBT Anglican Coalition. In consultation with the member organisations, its aims are to develop educational resources and to promote a greater understanding of LGBT issues within the Anglican Communion and the community at large.

The current activities of the group include: a) the preparation of a list of LGBT friendly churches across the UK; b) the testing of a template for a conference day for use by parishes, communities, areas, dioceses in the discussion of faith and sexual and gender identity issues; c) the compilation of a list of recommended resources for reflection and discussion by individuals and groups wrestling with these issues.
